Senior Manager of Procurement, you are a critical resource in
enabling our growth while ensuring we optimize our spending. In
this role, you are responsible for leading an efficient procurement
function through a combination of people, process, and systems to
ensure we access the right tools in an effective manner to power
our business. You will collaborate closely with team members across
the organization and must be willing to work standard business
hours Central Standard Time or Eastern Standard Time (Monday
through Friday, 8am - 5pm).Responsibilities
- Hire, build, lead and mentor a high performing team of Rithum
Procurement professionals.
- Maintain Rithum's ZIP vendor purchasing management system,
enabling visibility into upcoming contracts and renewals.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and objectives for the
procurement of goods and services, with a focus on software.
- Support procurement for all spending categories, making the
process easy and efficient for the team and compliant with customer
contracts and regulatory expectations (e.g., SOC-2, Data Privacy,
etc.).
- Develop and negotiate enterprise level contracts with key
vendors, including AWS, Salesforce, Microsoft, etc.
- Lead the life cycle of vendor contracts with a focus on
continuing service improvements and expense reduction.
- Pursue cost reduction opportunities through negotiation with
vendors, consolidating spend, and the identification and
elimination of redundancies in software and other spending.
- Create internal reference materials and deliver stakeholder
training to encourage proper process adherence and
understanding.
- Manage Rithum's global corporate real estate and facilities
portfolio, including negotiating and renewing real estate leases
and co-working space arrangements.
- Develop and maintain close collaborative partnerships with
other key internal Rithum teams, including Legal, People, Finance,
and IT.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of closely related professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience in a corporate financial
position
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a people management
role
- At least 1 year of experience with vendor relationships /
contracting
- Proven knowledge of procurement policies, processes, and
systems.
- Ability to stand firm on fair and best practices and
effectively negotiate under high pressure situations.
- Able to work standard business hours Central Standard Time or
Eastern Standard Time (Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm).
- Excellent communication, organization and follow-through skills
to interact with all levels of staff as well as outside
parties.Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work
experience
