OverviewMotorola Solutions Credit Company LLC ("MSCC") reports into
MSI Treasury and supports MSI's Global Sales Organization by
providing long-term financing solutions to MSI's domestic and
international customers by way of lease purchase contracts, leases
and loans. Providing long-term financing solutions allows customers
to spread the purchase price over multi-year budgets, thus
permitting customers to acquire complete turn-key systems
immediately versus purchasing in phases via a "pay-as-you-go"
approach. MSCC's Customer Financing Team takes these opportunities
from "cradle to grave" by working with both sales and MSI's
customers to structure the appropriate financing strategy,
partnering with third-party financial institutions to quote and
document the financing solution, negotiating the financing
contracts on behalf of MSI with its customers & their legal
representatives, funds the transactions, sells the financing
contracts to MSCC's partner banks, and conducts all customer
service activities required to properly manage the financing
contracts portfolio(s). MSCC plays a pivotal role in helping drive
MSI's financial success. The job functions of the Customer Finance
Team directly impact MSI's order backlog and revenue positions,
support Treasury's responsibility to generate liquidity and improve
MSI's operating cash flow, and provide a governance role in helping
manage MSI's balance sheet.Job DescriptionThis position requires an
organized, high-energy, detail-oriented, problem-solving financial
professional interested in exploring career opportunities in the
Trade Finance Banking industry.The successful candidate must
be:
- Team-oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Handle customer and contract related inquiries on a timely
basis (24 hour turn around)
- Ability to learn and navigate through the lease accounting
system (a.k.a."InfoLease") used to reconcile the financing contract
portfolio(s)Strong interpersonal skills are a must to successfully
work with customers, funding sources, internal MSI departments, and
Government Agencies (e.g. Secretary of State for each State where
MSI - Customer Finance conducts business).Specific
Knowledge/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with 1+ year of
experience in Collections & Lease/Loan Servicing Specialist style
role
- Billing/Collections & Customer Service
- Lockbox and bank account reconciliations including cash posting
processes
- Maintaining the integrity of the lease accounting system
(InfoLease)
- Forecasting: (1) Collections/Perfect Pay ; & (2) Lease
sales
- Coordinate the booking of financial contracts & the sale of
such to MSCC's bank partners
- Preparing end of month Bank Reconciliation/Settlement Reports
and bank wires
- Assist in MSCC's preparation of 10Q/10K required
disclosures
- Filing IRS 8038G disclosures, UCC's, and completing and mailing
Notice of Assignments
- Preparing customer contract files & maintaining the "cloud"
file room
- Taking the lead for all MSCC bank partner Servicing Audits
- Following-up on bank document exceptions including leased
equipment Delivery & Acceptance support
- Purchase order management & payment of MSCC vendor
invoices
- Finance contract originations (as time permits)We believe in

the position.Target Base Salary Range: $56,900 - $105,300
USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we
