Job Description:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards, conducting audits, and implementing root cause corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support training programs for new hires and existing employees, ensuring adherence to quality procedures and company standards.
  • Document and report non-conformance issues, assist with root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform independent audits of processes, products and procedures to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparing for external audits and certifications.
  • Partner with production teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues before and during production processes.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, tests, and sampling plans to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Analyze data from product tests, reports, and inspections to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformances to determine the root cause and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Qualifications & Skills:
  • Preferred 3-5 years of quality technician experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and statistical analysis methods (e.g., Lean, SPC).
  • Understanding of QC Processes, including sample rates and final inspections.
  • Preferred Certification in Quality Auditing (CQA) or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and apply customer specifications to quality processes.
  • Familiarity with consumer electronic devices (e.g., laptops, tablets, smartphones).
  • Reasonable operational knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass customer background checks as required.Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to view small details on product.
