Senior Control EngineerAs a Senior Control Engineer at a leading
systems integrator based in Melrose Park, IL, you will have the
opportunity to spearhead innovative automation projects across
multiple industries including automotive, chemical, food &
beverage, and material handling. Bring your expertise to design and
supervise cutting-edge control systems, playing a crucial role in

environment.Salary: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearEssential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and programming of control systems including
PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MES.
- Handle projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring
technical and quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems onsite and
remotely.
- Provide leadership in managing customer relationships, project
status updates, while overseeing project budgets and material
scopes.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, guiding them through
complexities of projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with NEC codes and UL508A
standards.
- Be ready to travel up to 20% to client sites, providing
hands-on field commissioning and support.
- Offer exceptional customer service, providing remote and onsite
assistance for urgent equipment issues.Minimum Position
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in industrial automation
systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing multiple project
teams.
- Demonstrated skill in PLC programming across various platforms
(Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees or certifications in Engineering or related
fields.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Skills:
- Expertise in network design and data acquisition systems.
- Robust troubleshooting capabilities in both hardware and
software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing
team and client interactions.
- Ability to adapt to various industries and project
