Job Description:
Position: Manufacturing Engineer IILocation: San Ramon,
CARelocation Assistance: NoClosing: Continuous Recruitment. We are

process.Salary: $93,000 - $126,000.The successful candidate's
starting base will be determined based on permissible,
non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and
geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be
hired at or near the top of the base range for this role.Minimum
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or
a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional hands-on
mechanical, manufacturing, or design engineer working on mechanical
systems.
- Experience creating technical specifications for automated
manufacturing equipment.
- Experience introducing new products and processes from a
prototype environment to a production environment.
- Experience providing Design for Manufacturability and
Automation.
- Proficiency in designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and
tooling in CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail.Job
Responsibilities and ExpectationsThis is not necessarily an

- Analyzes and plans workflow, equipment placement, and space
requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Develops clear and concise work instructions for production
processes and continuously audits and updates existing SOPs.
- Evaluates quality control processes and makes recommendations
for improvements.
- Utilizes Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools to reduce
downtime.
- Implements and maintains 5S on the production floor.
- Establishes and maintains data collection and performance
measurements to track performance in key areas.
- Investigates production issues and recommends and implements
corrective actions.
- Leads the initiative of ISO-9001 at RheoSense.
- Designs and produces manufacturing tooling and bench testing
quality control equipment for RheoSense products.
- Interacts and collaborates with team members to create the most
user-friendly and reliable applications possible.
- Supports Manufacturing Manager or designee, as required.About
