Job Description:

The Range Control Facility Project Manager reports to the Range Control Facility Program Manager and receives work direction derivatives from the Corps Solutions CEO, RCF Program Manager and government Range Manager. The Range Control Facility Project Manager will develop and conduct training programs for employees as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• As the Project Manager, supervise the project team supporting the RCF contract.
• As the Project Manager, develop and deliver the monthly report to the PgM and government.
• As the Project Manager, review and submit (to the PgM) travel requests from team members as appropriate.
• Support the development, update, and maintenance of position descriptions for each billet on the Team.
• As required, recruit, screen, and interview prospective candidates.
• Make hiring and compensation recommendations to the Program Manager.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that includes both initial and sustainment training.
• Update, maintain, and administer Performance Evaluation Checklists for the following billets: FDO, RFMSS FA, RFMSS Scheduler, RSS, GIS, etc.
• As the Project Manager, facilitate communication to the project team and PgM as necessary.
• As the Project Manager, facilitate communication with the government.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with the customer and associated leaders.
• Attend RCF-related training as required.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.EDUCATION
• High School Diploma-Bachelor's degree preferred.
• PMP Certified (preferred)
• Graduate of the MarineNet Range Safety Distance Learning Course.
• Graduate of the RFMSS course. (preferred)
• Graduate of the Inter-Service Range Safety Course. (preferred)
• Graduate of Range Managers Toolkit Training. (preferred)
• Graduate of Range Airspace Managers Course. (preferred)EXPERIENCE
• Ideal candidate is a former Marine Officer or Senior SNCO who has experience working in the Range Control community.
• Completion of a military career-level school preferred (Officer or SNCO).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and be able to learn other programs such as GIS, C2PC, and IRSS.CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIESRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively using military brevity.
• Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills in support of rapidly changing scheduling and staffing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.WORKING CONDITIONS
• Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Qualification as an authorized company driver is required.
