Job Description:
DescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for developing
new business, leading and delivering strategic client engagements
and serving as strategic advisor to clients concerning their
compliance issues. You will be working both directly with clients
and in coordination with our broader H&B practice, as well as
our Technical Services Group and Retirement practice. You will also
be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall
development of the practice.Performance Objectives:Financial
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services
by working with Market Leaders, Sales and Client Relationship
Management teams to identify, develop and close strategic sales
opportunitiesClients
- Partner with colleagues to support multiple client projects
involving health and welfare benefit plan design and strategy and
federal, state and local compliance issues
- Develop client deliverables in coordination with consultants
and senior consultants
- Finalize and present quality deliverables to clients
- Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide
consistent, superior relationship management
- Research various compliance and tax issues, draft responses and
memoranda and assist client meetings and presentations
- Participate on compliance audits and benefits
administration/process improvement reviews
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports on
changing laws and the impact on employers and their benefit
plans
- Partner with colleagues to manage multiple client projects
involving health and welfare benefit plan design and strategy and
federal, state and local compliance issues
- Develop plans for execution of large engagementsExcellence
- Serve as a subject matter expert on health and welfare laws and
regulations
- Perform technical review of work products
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches
related to compliance consultingPeople
- Demonstrate extensive leadership ability by mentoring other
consultants
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on
cross-functional teams
- Oversee analysts and consultants in the delivery of compliance
projectsQualificationsThe Requirements
- Juris Doctorate strongly suggested and minimum of 10 years
relevant experience within employee benefits
- Proven experience and success in employee health and welfare
benefit consulting with a focus on compliance. Prior experience in
a professional services firm, insurance company or legal
environment preferred
- Deep knowledge of IRC, ERISA, HIPAA and other relevant laws and
regulations affecting employee benefit plans
- A broad understanding of human capital strategy and the ability
to contribute to cross-practice client engagements
- Experience in managing multiple people and projects and
producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
- Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams,
and leverage the resources of other related practices to address
client challenges
- Material client-facing experience with public speaking

accordance with requirements of various state/local pay
transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary
for different individuals in the same role based on several
factors, including but not limited to location of the role,
individual competencies, education/professional certifications,
qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential
for revenue generation.CompensationThe base salary compensation
range being offered for this role is $185,000-$195,000 USD per
year.This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive
