family!Job DescriptionThe Manager, Commercial on our Zurn Elkay
Business Systems (ZEBS) team, reporting to the ZEBS Director, plays
an active role in driving accelerated operating and financial
performance through continuous process improvement. Emphasis is on
continuous improvement skills and culture building that will lead
to self - sustaining capabilities at domestic and international
locations. With a key focus on customer experience helping to
ensure Zurn Elkay is the easiest to do business within the water
industry.This position is based in our Downers Grove, IL office
with travel up to 50% to other locations.Key Accountabilities
- Ensure successful definition and execution of large,
cross-functional improvement initiatives tied to annual strategic
priorities around customer experience and commercial
excellence
- Assist teams in implementing cross functional data management
and governance.
- Assists in the creation of processes within our systems and BUs
across the organization
- Works with leadership to list and map out these processes and
create governance within the team
- Ability to help team create standardized tools and training
materials and modules for the commercial team.
- Development of training programs including kaizens
- Competent in pulling together reports and interfaces that allow
us to see improvements made and impacts to our commercialization
strategy.
- Familiar with various business PMO tools, concepts and
practices around ZEBS.
- Implement Lean processes in accordance with the organization's
Lean Implementation Plan (Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping,
Problem Solving, Kaizen)
- Directly supports commercial teams to achieve strategic
deployment objectives by conducting on-site workshops, kaizen
events and providing guidance through the lean transformation
process.
- Develop and upgrade ZEBS materials with a focus on governance
and process mapping
- Identifies and shares best practices across the different Zurn
Elkay locations.Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in distribution, service, or
manufacturing industry that includes defining, executing, and
stabilizing improvement.
- Proven track records of leading the development and
implementation of PMO tools, process mapping, CRM and ERP systems a
plus. Working with multiple business partners including IT to
implement tools for the sales team.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to
identify areas of improvement within commercial processes,
including sales pipeline management, order fulfillment, customer
onboarding, and post-sales support.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills,
ability to create digital training materials to help facilitate the
commercialization of new product development and sales enablement.
