Job Description:
A company is looking for an Audiologist to perform general
medical disability examinations for Veterans as an independent
contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct audiology exams and complete Disability Benefits
Questionnaires (DBQs) for veterans
Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical record
review, diagnostic testing, and interviews
Develop a medical opinion regarding the relationship between the
Veteran's condition and military service
Required Qualifications
Master's or doctorate degree from an accredited institution in
audiology
Active state license in good standing
Malpractice insurance
Provider in good standing with an established office
Access to necessary equipment and a sound-isolated testing
environment
