  • 30 Bed Neuro/stroke/vent/trach Stepdown Unit
  • Ratio for Stepdown patients 1:3-4, Ratio for tele patients 1:5
  • Work every other weekend and every other holiday
  • Weekend sick calls are made up the following weekend
  • Floating to like unit is dependent on census
  • Admissions and discharges are part of role
  • EPIC experience a MUST
  • NO BLOCK schedules
    • Job Requirements
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
    • Must be AHA.
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
    • Required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
    • Completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty. Minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.
    • Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
    • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics. Completed within a year of start updated yearly. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
