-Center for Better Aging at St. Bernard Hospital -in Chicago, Il. -
We are seeking a -part-time, 24 hours/week Registered Dietitian to
work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. - The -Center for
Better Aging serves the over 50 population, addressing the South
Side population's high rate of heart disease, diabetes, strokes,
chronic illness, mental and cognitive illness. This -part-time
-position will provide out-patient counseling and education,
serving as a resource for the Center for Better Aging and the
community. - -Experience with the geriatric population and the
development of programs such as food access is a plus! -***$1,500

You'll Do: provide out-patient clinical nutritional counseling,

Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education
Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework
and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council
for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those
eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's
degree with completion of required coursework and supervised
practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in
Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets
eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
(RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will
become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or
facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of
hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In
some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is
required at the time of hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3
years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal
supervision
