Job Description:
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team at
our Chicago, IL center. As a member on our clinical team, you'll
provide evaluations and treatment to assigned clients, and help
clients reach maximum performance level and to use skills learned
to the fullest to function in the community within the limits of
their capabilities.

Most of our clients are school-aged children, so we are looking for
someone with availability in the afternoons and evenings until
7:00pm. However, we offer flexibility in your schedule to offer a
couple earlier ending days. This position would split between two
center locations.

Requirements:
You have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and an Illinois
state license in good standing.
You are eager to work with pediatric clients and to design and
administer treatment programs to increase clients' levels of
functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate
occupations including play and feeding.
Physical demands: The physical demands are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be

Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move
up to 45lbs pounds.
Visual and auditory ability enough for written and verbal
communication.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Your role as an Occupational Therapist:
Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with
other Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners,
Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Board Certified
Behavior Analysts, and Neuropsychologists. As a member of our team,
you will:
Design and administer treatment programs to increase clients'
levels of functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate
occupations including play and feeding.
Make appropriate cross referrals to other disciplines as needed
Provide activities to assess and address client's executive
functioning skills, attention, and coordination (fine and
gross-motor)
Design home programs and instructs clients and families in carrying
out such programs.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as
doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients
receive comprehensive and coordinated care
Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as
needed
