Type of staff:
--- Day Shift (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) -1
charge nurse,9 nurses, 3 PCT (CNA), 2 sitters
--- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 3 PCT (CNA), 2
sitters
--- Patient Ratios: 4:1 occasional 5:1 when critical comes in to
trauma room
--- Type of equipment: Philips monitors
EMR: EPIC
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
--- Chest tubes
--- Central line/Art Line placement
--- Sedation
--- Rapid infusion
--- Wound care.
--- Target temp management
--- EKG
