Responsibilities:

As a Caregiver at Always Best Care, you'll be responsible for:

* Providing companionship and support for seniors
* Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
* Offering transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
* Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with mobility and transfers to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs
* Monitoring health and wellness, reporting changes to supervisors
* Offering emotional support and encouragement for maintaining independence
* Keeping clients engaged through activities and conversation
* Following care plans and safety protocols

Qualifications:

To ensure quality care, we require:

* 2+ years of professional caregiving experience (home care agency, facility, or similar environment)
* English proficiency and clear communication skills
* Two professional references (supervisor or co-worker)
* Ability to pass a background check
* TB test (preferred, not required)
* Valid driver's license and current car insurance (preferred, not required)
* Be dependable, compassionate, and have the ability to take initiative
