Description:This Director-level role will be dedicated to
developing and executing the restaurant compensation strategy and
programs globally. Reporting to the Global Head of Broad-Based
Compensation, this position will oversee the design, analysis,
evaluation, execution, and communication of restaurant compensation
programs and policies. The Director of Restaurant Compensation will
work cross-functionally with People Partners (HRBPs), Operations,
Finance, and Functional Leaders, Organizational Design, and the
Global Total Rewards (GTR) team to ensure competitive rewards for
our corporate-owned restaurant employees.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the global compensation strategy for the
corporate-owned restaurant workforce to enhance McDonald's
reputation as an employer of choice and drive retention.
- Oversee the development, execution, and adoption of enhanced
compensation strategies, education, tools, and resources within the
global franchisee community.
- Provide strategic support and guidance to restaurant HR and
Operations teams through system and process changes as part of
Global People Modernization (McDonald's HR transformation) and the
implementation of a new Human Capital Management system (Success
Factors).
- Manage and lead a team of compensation professionals, ensuring
effective execution of restaurant compensation strategies and
programs.
- Provide coaching, development, and performance management for
the compensation team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment,
promoting continuous learning and professional growth.Additional
Responsibilities of team:
- Manage vendor relationships for restaurant compensation data
and program partners.
- Market price restaurant positions utilizing external market
data to aid in the development and maintenance of US restaurant
salary range structures.
- Maintain and serve as the subject matter expert on external
market data for restaurants and related reporting.
- Act as the GTR focal point for the Restaurant Annual
Compensation Cycle, educating managers on the process and
timeline.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support data-driven
decision-making.
- Partner with other Total Rewards team members to develop
education and communication materials on compensation fundamentals
and identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and enhance

is $168,350 - $218,860 per yearThe above represents the expected
salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining

job-related factors.Qualifications:
- Proven leadership in spearheading broad-based compensation
initiatives, encompassing compensation design, job architecture,
etc.
- Experience managing global compensation teams.
- Proven experience working within a globally complex, multi-site
organization.
- Demonstrated tenacity and self-starter attitude, with a proven
ability to drive initiatives independently and achieve results in a
dynamic environment.
- Experience working with frontline employees in restaurants,
retail, or similar industries.
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling large volumes
of data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and
PowerPoint (ability to "story-tell").
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Additional
