The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Sr. Developer will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive our company's success and positively impact society.Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications to meet business requirements.
• Experience in data acquisition and processing to improve data reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Experience developing in Python using Spark and other data tools.
• Familiar with AWS technologies like Glue, S3, and RedShift.
• Experience developing in Kafka.
• Experience with large data sets to address business issues.
• Experience with modern software delivery practices including source control, testing, and continuous delivery.
• Experience delivering products with Agile methodologies.
• Own the design, construction, and optimization of systems for data collection and transformation.
• Build and maintain data pipelines used by both data scientists and business analysts.
• Work closely with internal and external SMEs to tackle issues, as well as with data scientists and analysts to efficiently apply curated data and translate sophisticated datasets into actionable insights.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of our reporting infrastructure, including data pipelines that foster dashboards, reports, and custom visualizations.
• Proactively identify and implement enhancements in data processing efficiency, integrity, and quality.Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Certifications RequiredCertified Python Developer or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $95,500 - $109,000, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
