capabilities.Full Job Description:We are looking for a creative
researcher to help discover and develop new and more efficient ways
to find vulnerabilities in computer programs. You will work with a
small team to develop software that analyzes binaries to find
execution primitives that can be misused and chained together to
form full exploits. You will be expected to perform novel research
which advances the state of the art of static program analysis, as
well as occasionally use dynamic analysis, such as fuzzing and
symbolic execution. This tool is used by both external and internal
customers, so your research will have immediate
impact.Qualifications:
- A U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top
Secret clearance.
- Expert in some field of static program analysis, such as: type
systems, abstract interpretation, model checking, flow analysis,
etc.
- Able to read and understand academic papers.
- Ability to engineer well-written, extensible software.
- Strong communications skills including the ability to
communicate both verbally and in writing.Nice to Have
Qualifications:
- Familiar with assembly language and low-level program
execution.
- Proficient with a static, functional programming language, such
as: Haskell, OCaml, Idris, ML.
- Proficient with a low-level language, such as: C/C++,
Rust.
- Experience with reverse engineering binaries using IDA Pro,
Binary Ninja, Ghidra, etc.Responsibilities:
- Able to work in a small team to design new features and
improvements.
- Integrate new technologies into a system that spans multiple
components.
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle:
research, design, develop, test, SCM, code review, CI/CD,
troubleshooting/support, and performance measurement.Benefits We
