Job Description:
Winston & Strawn's Chicago office is looking for a mid-level
associate with 3 -5 years of solid trusts & estates experience. The
ideal candidate would have experience working with ultra high
net-worth individuals in the design and drafting of their estate
plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of
attorney, premarital agreements, and other estate planning
documents. The candidate also should be experienced with family
limited partnerships and limited liability companies, shareholder
agreements, installment sales, and other related transactions. This
associate will consult with and advise fiduciaries in probate and
trust administration, work with clients in connection with
contested trust and tax matters, review estate and gift tax returns
(including complex reporting and valuation issues), and assist
clients in the establishment of private foundations and other
charitable vehicles. Admittance to the Illinois Bar is preferred.
