Visiting Program Supervisor (Bilingual) is responsible for the
oversight and supervision of a team of Home Visitors to ensure that
strength-based, family centered home visiting services meet the
needs of high-risk expectant parents and families with children
birth to 36 months and/or birth through 5 years of age. The Home
Visiting Supervisor ensures compliance with contract, funder,
accreditation, and program model standards, and may provide backup
coverage and/or direct services to program participants. This
position reports to the assigned Program Manager or Director.Core
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate program staff and the performance of
their duties on a regular basis.
- Provide individual case consultation and supervision.
- May attend in-person initial home visits with program staff and
conduct safety assessments.
- Ensure safety concerns are immediately addressed and that
program participants are successfully referred for needed
services.
- Work closely with funders, such as the Department of Children
and Family Services, Illinois State Board of Education, Department
of Justice, Department of Human Services and/or the Department of
Public Health and others, to ensure all licensing regulations,
performance standards and reporting are being met.
- Participate in the development and implementation of program
budgets.
- Engage in community outreach to promote services and ensure
successful collaboration with community partners.
- Maintains and monitors Home Visitor documentation (professional
development activities, home visit documentation, tracking sheets,
activity/lesson plans, etc.) and shares with the management team as
required.
- Provides training, technical assistance and feedback on the
development of lesson/home visit plans, goal planning for home
visitors.
- May have responsibility for providing home visits to assigned
program participants.Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work,
or related field required.
- 5 years of related work experience in early childhood,
prevention services, case management, social work or related
experience required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must complete program model fidelity training within 6 months
of hire and maintain certification. (Baby TALK, HFA, PAF,
etc.)
- Knowledge of infant mental health, trauma-informed practice,
and early childhood development required.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed,
including a valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable
vehicle.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required.Job
Details:
- Compensation: Range starts at $54,500/year; offers are
commensurate with experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
candidates may receive additional compensation.
- Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time

Year's Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays,

- Location: This is an office-based position located in Chicago,
IL with opportunities to work from home 1-2 days per week. This
position also requires occasional in-person attendance at community
meetings, home visits, or program events.
- Schedule: Full-time, salaried; general business hours with some
