QC MANUFACTURING SUPPORT SUPERVISOR. If you are looking for a work

Manufacturing Support Supervisor oversees and supports
manufacturing operations related to food safety and quality issues.
Act as advisor to production teams on QC & QA issues/initiatives
(e.g. problem solving, identification and escalation of significant
QA issues).This position may require the employee to work overtime
as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job
responsibilities and the needs of the department.Additionally, this
position requires employees to receive cross training &
certifications in other quality functions in order to provide back
up support as needed (i.e., SQF, HACCP, CAPA).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise Employees on assigned shift
- Yearly Performance Evaluations/Goal Setting
- Conduct and coordinate yearly mandatory training of staff as
required
- Schedule and monitor employee time and attendance work
schedule. Plan and post weekly schedule
- Coach and develop employees and working relationships
- Cross training employees in other Quality areas
- Review and forward all documents related with Medical Food or
DS items.
- Develop OT Saturday Rotation Calendar consulting QC
Manager
- Follow up in any CCPs or CQPs failures with Production
Supervisor
- Lead any qualification protocol for Contract Products
- Ensure systems are in place to verify finished products are
within specifications
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, pest control, GMP and
internal auditing process, etc.
- Supervise holds and manage database
- Follow in calibration of QC equipment
- Collaborate with department management to ensure successful
introduction of new product and introduction of new equipment
- Identify and determine process improvements and implement in
coordination with operation management.
- Assist in development and implementation of quality training
programs for employees
- Promote company policies, procedures, quality and process
improvement
- Plan and posting weekly schedule
- Supervise Quality Incoming Inspection Process for packaging and
ingredients
- Other duties may be assignedQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of Quality Assurance experience within the food and
beverage industry required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a QC lead or supervisor
required.
- Knowledge of one or more is desirable:
- Government Regulations (GMPs, CFR, SQF, HACCP)
- Familiarity with sampling techniques and Laboratory
testing.
- BS degree in Microbiology or Chemistry highly desired or
comparable certification with minimum of 5 years' experience
preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Strong leadership skills that include decision making and
listening skills with the ability to work under pressure and
delegate effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to take the initiative, make suggestions, and follow up

Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).BENEFITS & SALARYThe minimum
compensation for the QC Manufacturing Support Supervisor is $64,514
annually. The Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and
will provide further compensation information during the interview
process. Compensation is determined by a candidate's experience,
education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our
organization. Actual compensation to be paid will be determined

etc.
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally,
