NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, is looking for a highly skilled, Mechanical Team Lead, who is responsible for the daily coordination and monitoring of the mechanical facility needs for both of NEW Water's wastewater treatment facilities and collection system.About the Position:This position's key responsibilities include reviewing high-priority work requests for facilities and mechanical maintenance, assigning tasks, and checking the finished work of utility and mechanical staff. This role will also require coordination with other NEW Water departments to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems and assist in the planning and supplying of resources for projects. The Mechanical Team Lead is also in charge of making sure that correct information regarding equipment repairs is entered into the Computerized Maintenance Management System in accordance with the objectives of the NEW Waters Asset Management Program, enhancing maintenance effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and supplying accurate data for capital decision-making. To ensure NEW Water is fulfilling all regulatory and environmental compliance obligations, this role is also responsible for offering both internal and external clients high-quality service.Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree (or equivalent) or completion of a State Apprenticeship Program in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship program.
• 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance of mechanical equipment performed at the journeyman level or the equivalent knowledge and skill. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.Compensation: (*not including shift differential, overtime or other premium pay)
  • Mechanic Team Lead Hiring Wage Range: $33.57-$38.31 per hour
