Job Description:

Our client, a specialty finance company in Chicago, IL, is currently seeking a Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Underwriter to join their growing team. The incumbent will underwrite a variety of commercial real estate assets including hotel, retail, industrial, multifamily, self-storage, manufactured home communities, student housing, and healthcare real estate up to $75MM.Responsibilities

Conduct detailed investment analysis to assess the risk and credit dynamics of each transaction
Transaction due diligence and market analysis
Financial modeling
Preparation of credit memos
Present financial information to senior management
Manage closing processQualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of seven years of CRE underwriting experience
- Strong CRE market knowledge
- Experience with a variety of asset types
- Must have Microsoft Excel experience
- CoStar and Argus experience preferred
- Team player and excellent communicator
