graduate-prepared nurse with expertise in obstetric nursing to
teach our baccalaureate students in the clinical setting, beginning
January 6th, 2025. This is a great opportunity to share your

Faculty at Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP) work as members of

deliver high-quality instruction to students. Faculty are expected
to demonstrate innovation and excellence in course instruction,
foster an atmosphere of active intellectual and creative engagement
with students in and out of the classroom, and support the

community.Course Description: NSG 312P (2.0 Credits) Practicum,
Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family: This practicum allows the
student to apply NSG 312 and NSG 312L concepts, principles, and
skills learned in the classroom and laboratory to a real patient
care situation in a hospital, clinic, or private physician's
office.Course Instruction Responsibilities:
- Facilitate quality student learning through teaching assigned
courses.
- Deliver clinical instruction on dates as scheduled.
- Provide substantive and timely feedback on course assessments,
following academic unit and university guidelines, within the
Learning Management System, typically within five business days of
the assessments' due dates.
- Respond to student inquiries typically within 24 hours during
business days unless otherwise specified at the college level (48
hours on weekends, with closer monitoring if assignments are due
during the weekend or on Monday).
- Work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment,
partnering with academic advising, career development, and the
academic team to ensure each student has the resources they need to
succeed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Follow the university and academic unit's policies and
procedures.Qualifications:
- Education Required: Minimum of a graduate degree in nursing
from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing
accreditation, or demonstrate compliance with the following: (1) if
the individual has a graduate degree in a field other than nursing,
he or she must have a bachelor's degree in nursing from a Nursing
Education Program with national nursing accreditation and
demonstrate evidence that the graduate degree is in a field
relevant to the area of responsibility.
- Experience Required: 3 years as an RN.Supplemental Information:
