LEAD CUSTODIAN

A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking a Lead Custodian who will delegate responsibilities to the custodial team for three manufacturing facilities in Wheeling.

Lead Custodian Job Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial duties while delegating tasks to team members - - - -
• Maintain inventory for cleaning supplies, paper goods, and other consumables while working closely with the Purchasing Dept to purchase supplies - - - -
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers - - - -
• Clean and supply restrooms and break rooms - - - -
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing and shampooing carpeting as needed. - - - -
• Dust and wipe down surfaces in common areas- lunch rooms, conference rooms, workout room, training room. - - - -
• Properly clean all windows and mirrors. Lead Custodian Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of custodial/maintenance experience - - - -
  • 1+ year of leadership experience - - - -
  • Ability to be on-call during off hours - - - -
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. - - - -
  • Ability to communicate concerns and hazards in a timely fashion to a diverse audience. - - - -
  • Ability to work independently with little to no direction. - - - -
