Job Description
Position: Data Centric Testing
Location: Chicago, IL
Roles
Defining enterprise-wide data testing strategy focused on data migration and application migration to cloud.
Responsible for testing all changes associated with database migrations from on prem DB to Azure cloud database & report testing results
Preparing test plan, test suites, Requirement Traceability Matrix, review test cases and test steps.
Prepare DSR, WSR & MSR as well as present and disseminate among the stakeholders
Lead a team of 10+ data test engineers for cloud migration project
Skills
Experience - 8-12 Years
Experience in leading a Team of data centric Testing for multiple simultaneous applications and associated DBs are getting migrated in a phase.
Data migration testing and Testing on any one of the cloud AWS/Azure (preferred)/GCP with data bricks, BI Report testing with Tableau, SAP BO
SQL writing/Python Scripting framework development in python
Estimation on Data centric testing and knowledge of industry standard automation tools
Good understanding of troubleshooting on data issues, Batch execution
Good understanding of transition and development of artifacts during transition
Understanding of agile practices
Identification of test data requirements for project
