direction of the Foreman, we're looking for a Cement Mason/Concrete
Finisher responsible for safely assisting in the placement of
concrete and final finishing of concrete surfaces, and perform
other duties as assigned by the Foreman or other management.The

- Projects will vary by location, so reliable transportation and
a willingness to travel to any job site is required as needed. Our
projects are typically located throughout Southeast WI. and west to
Madison, WI.The Candidate:
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- A Class A CDL is strongly desired.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Prior construction experience preferred.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and
weekends as needed.
- Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions,
and work in dirty and dusty environments, and crawl in close
quarters to strip concrete forms.
- Member of a Local Cement Masons Union, or willingness to become
a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior
to employment. Our Human Resources Department is available to
assist in that process as needed.
- Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete poured
is level.
- Fill roadways, driveways, sidewalks, bridges, and parking
lots.
- Arrange the concrete forms and prepare surface.
- Level surfaces by using special blades, making sure all lumps
and bubbles are smoothed over.
- Use wood or plastic forms to shape the concrete and hold it
until it is set.
- Smooth high spots and fill depressions.
- Make concrete beams, columns, and panels.
- Finish corners by hand.
- Use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets.
- Knowledge of and ability to safely use crane hand signals.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Able to lift and carry up to 75lbs unassisted.
