Associate Scientist, in vivo BiologyWe are seeking an independent
and highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join our
research and development team to conduct complex studies using
animal models and ex vivo sample analysis to support the
development of novel therapeutics. You will utilize your strong in
vivo technical skills and solid understanding of disease animal
models in the hematology/immunology field to help execute a wide
variety of projects across Ensoma's portfolio.You will join a team
of scientists dedicated to moving a novel gene therapy drug
candidate into the clinic. Join us and be part of building a

diseases.Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex in vivo experiments using disease and
immunocompromised mouse models
- Perform primary cell isolation and culture
- Execute in vitro and ex vivo cell-based assays
- Manage internal and external mouse colonies
- Analyze data and present results at group meetings and
conferences
- Contribute to publications and written reports for regulatory
filings
- Maintain laboratory equipment and rooms as
requiredQualifications:Required:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a biological science with a minimum of
six years or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three years of
academic and/or industry experience
- Experience in rodent handling dosing such as intravenous (IV),
intraperitoneal (IP), intramuscular (IM), or subcutaneous (SC) and
tissue collection, preferably in hemato-lymphoid organs (bone
marrow, spleen, blood)
- Demonstrated experience in performing primary cell cultures,
hematopoietic stem cell and/or immune cell-based in vitro and in
vivo assays
- Ability to design experiments and troubleshoot technical
hurdles independentlyPreferred:
- Experience with multi-color flow cytometry and ability to
operate flow cytometers independently
- Experience with complex in vivo protocols including bone marrow
transplant
- Demonstrated experience in erythroid cell biology
