Dietary Aide

• 
  
• Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis. -
  
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures. -
  
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures. -
  
• Sweeps and mops floors as directed. -
  
• Washes and cleans utensils as directed. -
  
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed. -
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • All other duties as assigned.
    
    Dietary Aide -Qualifications and Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English -
      
    • Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
      
    • Ability to follow sanitation process and maintain cleanliness standards
      
      Dietary Aide Education and Experience:
      
      • 
        
      • Experience operating an industrial dishwasher and the sanitation process of the kitchen, preferred.
        
      • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. -
        
      • Experience in industrial food production preferred. -
        
      • Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus. -
        
        Physical Requirements: -
        
        • 
          
        • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
