  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Follow all plant safety rules & required PPE at all times
    
  • Ensure safe operation practices
    
  • Preventative maintenance of all production equipment
    
  • Installation and modification of mechanical equipment
    
  • Fabrication for machinery and special items, as required
    
  • Repairs manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, piping, and other mechanical equipment
    
  • Performs simple to intermediate equipment and pipe installations
    
  • Compiles with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs
    
  • Rebuild production equipment
    
  • Conduct inventory of spare parts
    
  • Assist with and learn troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment breakdowns
    
  • Ensure safety precautions and proper methods of preventative and Predictive Maintenance on various types of equipment
    
  • Keeps work area neat, clean, and free of debris

    REQUIREMENTS:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Mechanical background and/or experience required
      
    • MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT. 6:45 AM TO 3:00 PM
      
    • 2nd shift hours - 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm -
      
    • 3rd shift hours - 10:45 pm to 7:00 am -
      
    • Must be able to operate forklifts, Gantry, and aerial lifts
      
    • Thorough understanding of rigging, welding, and fabricating
      
    • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
      
    • Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift; frequent overtime may also be required.
