Since 1945, we have remained committed to design excellence, sustainability, and service to our clients and communities.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Architect II who is ready to take on greater leadership within projects, contribute to design development, and play a key role in technical execution. This position is ideal for mid-career professionals with 5-12 years of experience who are looking to deepen their expertise, mentor junior staff, and lead aspects of project delivery.Key Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in project design, technical development, and documentation from concept through construction
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and technical details
• Serve as a key contact for clients, consultants, and project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior designers and architects
• Lead code analysis and compliance reviews, ensuring high standards in all project phases
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and quality control efforts
• Represent FGMA in client presentations, industry events, and networking opportunities
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts, contributing to firm-wide best practices and standardsQualifications & Skills
  • 5-12 years of experience in an architectural firm, with increasing project responsibilities
  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program
  • Proven experience with project coordination, consultant management, and technical documentation
  • Expertise in Revit Architecture, with strong experience in construction documentation
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Effective team leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
  • LEED accreditation (preferred)
