to join our team as an Electrical Engineer. At Shermco we hire

bring ingenuity in all they do.Role and Responsibilities
- Work under a Professional Engineer (PE) on an amazing team
performing electrical engineering studies. We are looking for new
graduates that are willing to be hands on with our engineering and
field service group.
- Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for
domestic and international projects.
- Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling
and analysis, and grounding analysis.
- Conduct short-circuits, protective device coordination and
arc-flash studies.
- Interact with customers to gather critical information and
review engineering plans.
- Design and troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
- Occasionally work with our Field Services team on shut-down,
startup, installation, and maintenance projects.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Computer Skills; Microsoft Suite
- Preferred educational focus in Power Systems StudiesNice to
Have Skills
- Exposure to protective relay projects, short-circuit,
protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality
studies
- Experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EasyPower, or other power
system modeling software
- Utility design experienceRequirements
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and
occasional weekends, holidays, and nights
- Does not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the
future
- Must be willing to travel; minimum 40%

individual hold a valid U.S. driver's license in good standing
