Tampa, FLThe Anti-Terrorism Force Protection/Personal Recovery
Analyst assists the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central
Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the
operations directorate task area. The position's primary mission
involves advising the COMUSMARCENT in all matters pertaining to
current and future operations and organizing, directing, and
controlling USMC operations in the USCENTCOM AOR. The operations
directorate handles force requirements and coordinates Global Force
Management needs with the Service and USCENTCOM, overseeing
training, readiness, personnel recovery, and force protection, and
ensures all necessary actions are aligned for both current and
future operations. The Anti-Terrorism Force Protection/Personal
Recovery Analyst directly supports services for MARCENT by
providing AT/FP analysis, support, and recommendations to ensure
the efficient execution of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the
continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental
United States (OCONUS). The Anti-Terrorism Force
Protection/Personal Recovery Analyst will perform the following
duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (AT/FP)/Personnel
Recovery Analysis services.
- Provide AT/FP information, advisories, assessments, and
assistance to Marine Forces deployed in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Identify and assist the MARCENT AT/FP Officer with the
implementation of new or alternative AT/FP systems.
- Analyze and prepare recommendations on Universal Needs
Statements (UNS) and Combating Terrorism Readiness Initiative Funds
(CBTRIF).
- Support requirements to provide Critical Infrastructure
Protection Support, conduct vulnerability assessments for forward
deployed forces, analyze available threat data, and provide
recommended mitigation measures.
- Analyze improvised explosive device (IED) data as well as
Unmanned Aircraft Systems threat data and provide recommended
counter measures.
- Be available for travel with less than 24 hours' notice and
coordinate personnel recovery and AT/FP training for forward
deployed forces.
- Ensure data readiness of the MARCENT Isolated Personnel Report
(ISOPREP) database.EDUCATION
- HS diploma or equivalent required.EXPERIENCE
- Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience in anti-terrorism, force protection, and personal
recovery, with a focus on analysis, recommendations, and
implementation.
- Experience in coordinating and supporting personnel recovery
operations, including training and database management.
- Background in analyzing threat data, such as improvised
explosive devices (IEDs) and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), with
experience in recommending countermeasures.
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments for critical
infrastructure and forward-deployed forces.
- Experience with the MARCENT Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP)
database or similar systems, ensuring data readiness and
accuracy.CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIESRequired Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities
- Possess full understanding and experience of all component
level AT/FP orders, policies, training, processes, equipment,
tasks, and USMC Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel
missions.
- Ability to respond to urgent situations with less than 24
hours' notice and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
- Proficient in preparing assessments, advisories, and
recommendations in a clear and actionable format.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint,
MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,
etc.) desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.WORKING
CONDITIONS
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain
focus.SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- Travel is required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All
authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license,
current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is
acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.SECURITY
