Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Sr Business Analyst for a contract position in Chicago, IL. The opportunity will be nine months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: The candidate will be joining the Business Managed Application Governance team under Cyber Security. This team is responsible for governing a population of software and technology solutions, as well as managing the inventory, risk rating, and control assessments for those solutions.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Manage the team inbox, responding to questions surrounding process updates, access to the tool, and general inquiries.
Pull and compile reports regularly to ensure data integrity.
Monitor inventory to identify actionable items to be sent downstream for a fix.
Support periodic assessment activities.
Research and investigate various records for linkages or other impacts.
Engage in continuous process improvement.
Provide requirements and work with technology support on systems maintenance activities and user acceptance testing.


Qualifications:

1-3 years in a similar role
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
Excellent attention to detail
Time management
Proficient with Microsoft suite (intermediate Excel skills required; pivot tables, v-lookups)
Technology asset management


Preferred:

Previous Business Analyst experience at a major financial institution
Previous experience with technology risk management and software management controls
