Overview
Position Summary:The National College of Education (NCE) at
National Louis University (NLU) is proactively recruiting Adjunct
Instructors of Middle Grades - Graduate Level for part-time adjunct
faculty openings expected in the future. Candidates will be added
to a pool of applicants. Adjunct faculty will be teaching graduate
and/or doctoral courses like:
Essential Responsibilities
Qualifications
Required:Master's degree or higher in the field/content area OR
Master's degree or higher in related field, with at least 32
semester hours in content area Current or prior endorsement,
certification, and/or licensure in the content areaMinimum of 3
years of relevant experience teaching in the field/content
areaAbility to work with a highly diverse faculty and student
bodyAbility to use data to inform instructionExperience with
teaching online, using educational technology toolsExcellent
written and oral communication skills Preferred: Earned Doctorate
degree Bilingual in English/Spanish Demonstrated scholarshipCurrent

Adjunct Faculty are paid by course or assignment each term. These
rates vary by college and number of credit hours for the
course/assignment. While the specific amount will be indicated in
an electronic contract that is issued to the Adjunct Faculty member
when the course is assigned, an overview of standard rate structure
