Job Description:

Seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago. This hybrid role is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 3-5 years of front-end development experience, particularly in e-commerce, looking for a contract-to-hire position. You will work closely with our design, product, and backend teams to build and enhance user-facing features and ensure a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications for our e-commerce platform.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into functional code.
Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using modern front-end technologies such as Vue, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Ensure the website's performance, scalability, and security in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on e-commerce or similar web applications.
Strong proficiency in Vue, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React.
Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional team.Preferred Qualifications:
E-commerce platform experience
Knowledge of front-end build tools and automation
Experience with testing frameworks
Familiarity with server-side technologies and Node.js.
