The Lifestyle Director will create, plan, and implement various community activities and events. Must possess superior customer service skills and creativity.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Work closely with homeowners, suppliers, volunteer committee members, and team members.
    • Able to remain calm under pressure and be solutions oriented.
    • Strong computer & social media skills are essential. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, website management, Constant Contact, Outlook, Microsoft Publisher. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
    • MUST be detail oriented, have superior documentation and organization skills.
    • Create and organize themed events and activities at the clubhouse.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, to check in on early evening or weekend events.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with staff, committees, and homeowners.
    • Answer incoming calls and research and solve customer issues.
    • Present a professional image.
    • Develop creative ideas for high quality community events that encourage resident-to-resident interaction, resident-to-staff interaction, and/or resident-to-associated program partners in meaningful and memorable ways.
    • Create and maintain a comprehensive events calendar as outlined and directed by the CAM Manager including important task completion/delivery dates for the various events scheduled on the calendar.
    • Create and consistently manage/update an event-specific "Task List" that outlines all necessary items for completion needed to effectively deliver a high quality, well-organized event.
    • Create and implement effective marketing campaigns and communication to residents to ensure strong attendance of community events (collaborating with associated program partners when necessary).
    • Effectively communicate and work with necessary on-site managers to schedule volunteers and set expectations for that staff in the planning and implementation of all planned events.
    • Effectively manage all day-of event details such as location and location set-up, equipment, food/beverage, necessary supplies, and d--cor as needed.
    • Assist in the creation, review, and management of event-related budget to ensure efficiency and optimization of funds as a whole and for each individual event.
    • Work with neighboring businesses for partnership regarding sponsorship of events.
    • Prepare monthly newsletter for electronic distribution to community and Sales Team.
    • Create and maintain an organized list of associated vendors and current contact information.
    • Manage and negotiate all event-related vendor contracts to ensure cost effectiveness, accuracy, appropriate contract dates, and all supporting documentation as outlined by company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in training and developing other community staff in the area of event preparation, management, set-up, and tear down.
    • Work closely with appropriate corporate support departments to ensure compliance with all insurance requirements and safety-related measures.
    • Ensure customer service and engagement is a primary tenant of all development, planning, and implementation of all event-related interactions with residents, associated partners, and fellow staff.
    • Regularly review effectiveness of organization and execution of events after the fact for opportunities to improve the future quality of events in development and implementation and resident satisfaction.Additional Duties and Responsibilities
      • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical standards.
      • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
      • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
      • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
      • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.Minimum Qualifications
        • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        • Ability to make sound business decisions and work effectively with little or no supervision.
        • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
        • Ability to successfully work with a wide range of personnel including vendors, personnel, office staff and all levels of management.Physical Requirements/Working EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.           • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to freely move about the office and community.
          • Must be able and willing to work a variety of hours in order to meet the requirements of the position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.The work environment characteristics are normal office conditions at an onsite community facility. This is a full-time position. There will be occasions when it is necessary to work various evenings, weekends, and holidays.
