Vice President-Staff Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for numbers? We're seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic internal finance and accounting team!In this role, you'll:

• Ensure smooth operation of our internal accounting processes, supporting the creation of accurate financial and business reports.
• Leverage your analytical skills to delve into data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights.
• Assist in preparing journal entries, meticulously analyzing and substantiating financial transactions.
• Tackle monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision and efficiency.
• Become a pro at balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely completion within set deadlines.
• Investigate, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies, maintaining impeccable financial records.
• Partner with the team during month-end, quarter-end, and annual close cycles.
• Prepare PBCs (working papers) for the annual audit, ensuring smooth collaboration with external auditors.
• Provide support and backup for accounts receivable/payable functions, demonstrating agility and team spirit.
• Respond to financial queries from FP&A and other departments, fostering a culture of open communication.We're looking for someone who:
  • Possesses 1-3 years of relevant work experience, eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
  • Holds an Undergraduate degree in Accounting, ready to apply your knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • While not required, experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning, ideally progressing towards your CPA certification.
  • Thrives in a technology-driven environment, proficient in GL ERP systems (ideally Oracle) and Excel.
