difference!As the Head of Market Segment & Product Management for
our North American Automotive Business Unit (internally referred to
as Head of Marketing), you will shape the strategic direction,
growth, and profitability of our automotive segment. In this
critical leadership role, you will oversee market strategy, product
innovation, and marketing, and drive business development in
collaboration with our Business Development Engineering team to
maintain our position as a top innovator and trusted partner in the
automotive industry. Your market insights and customer-centric
approach will be essential in establishing our products as the
preferred solutions for OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other
automotive customers in North America.What you will do:
- Market Segment Leadership: Define and implement strategies for
key market segments (EV Battery, Connected Interior, OEM, Exterior)
within the automotive industry, ensuring alignment with overall
business objectives and market trends.
- Product Strategy & Development: Oversee the entire product
lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, including
roadmaps, product positioning, and value propositions tailored to
diverse customer needs.
- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct ongoing market analysis to
identify trends, customer demands, and competitive insights;
translate findings into actionable strategies to enhance our market
position.
- Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong
relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and strategic partners
to understand their evolving needs and co-develop tailored product
solutions.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with R&D,
engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely product
development, quality assurance, and successful market
launches.
- Financial Management: Set pricing strategies, manage P&L
for the product portfolio, and optimize profitability by balancing
cost efficiency, innovation, and customer value.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing
product management and market segment team, fostering a
collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Innovation and Portfolio Expansion: Identify opportunities for
product differentiation and innovation, driving sustainable growth
and expanding our market presence.What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field;
an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 8+ years in product management, market strategy, business
development or a similar role within the automotive or
manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership
position.
- Deep understanding of the automotive market, including key
trends, customer dynamics, and the competitive landscape.Why Join
