Global Chief Information Officer, USAre you passionate about

directly to the Global Chief Operating Officer.The Global Chief
Information Officer is responsible for leading technology and
operations across 120 countries globally. This role involves the
development and implementation of IT initiatives across
end-user/colleague experience, core applications, and
infrastructure aligned with Aon's business strategy, enabling
growth, ensuring the security, resiliency, and efficiency of
technology systems, leading operating expenses and capital
investments, and driving innovation to maintain a competitive

- Develop and execute the global technology strategy in
partnership with the Chief Product & Technology Officer in
alignment with the company's overall strategy and achieving our 3x3
strategic investment in accelerating client and colleague
capabilities. Provide visionary leadership and ensure the effective
use of technology and leverage of AI to support business growth
while reducing technical debt, optimizing CapEx and OpEx, and
increasing resiliency.
- Establish and implement technology policies, standards, and
procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and
best practices. Be responsible for technology risk management and
cybersecurity initiatives in partnership with the Chief Security
Officer. Govern IT portfolio optimizing enterprise architecture
through application rationalization and infrastructure
optimization.
- Apply digital transformation initiatives to support growth and
improve operational efficiency and business agility by completing
cloud strategy and using AI. Cultivate a culture of
innovation.
- Be responsible for the selection, implementation, and
maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure. Ensure the
reliability, security, and scalability of technology solutions.
Reduce technical debt while increasing cyber resiliency.
Strategically lead optimization of application and infrastructure
landscape enabling agility of services while optimizing overall IT
portfolio.
- Develop and lead the technology budget, ensuring strategic
sourcing, vendor partnerships, and cost-effective use of
resources.
- Be a phenomenal partner with technology vendors and service
providers. Optimize contracts and manage Technology Asset
Management optimizing licensing and entitlements and ensure the
delivery of high-quality services while improving third-party risk
management in partnership with peers.
- Lead experience strategy for 60,000 colleagues globally
interacting with devices, in-office and remote technology
experiences, and mobile enablement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technology team.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that

- Collaborate with senior leaders and the Aon Business Services
Leadership Team to understand business needs and provide tech
solutions for success.
- Stay connected externally to be informed about technology
trends and standard methodologies to implement across the
firm.Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies
that align with business goals and are validated by external
benchmarks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and
motivate a broad technology team including partners.
- Extensive understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and
innovative technologies. Demonstrated success in leveraging AI to
enable growth and efficiency and integrating large scale
acquisitions.
- Experience in driving digital transformation and cultivating a
culture of innovation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in running large-scale IT programs and initiatives
across applications and infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree or
MBA is preferred.
- Extensive experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably
as a CIO or equivalent leading IT integration at scale with
demonstrated success.
- Experience in leading integrated applications architecture
including Workday and Microsoft.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maturing product
operating model including shared capabilities.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies
and leading IT operations on a global scale.
- Good understanding of IT governance, risk management, and
cybersecurity.
- Experience in leading IT investments and resources

salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is
$350,000 - $420,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on
the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary
may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic
location.The salary range reflected is based on a primary work
location of Chicago. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a
different geographic location.This position is eligible to
participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an
annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount
of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of
the applicable incentive plan.A summary of all the benefits offered
