apply!*Responsibilities:** Completion of documentation for all
pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, re-evaluations,
assessments, insurance reports, medical reviews, appeal processes
and progress reports* Administer evaluations, tests, or
examinations to pediatric patients to collect information on type
and degree of impairments* Develop or implement individualized
treatment plans for speech-language issues* Collects accurate data
and makes data-based decisions* Writes reports and completes daily
documentation, including the initial evaluation, treatment,
progress, and discharge of clients* Maintain communication with
families, doctors, schools, and other relevant service providers
ensuring communication related to the client's program* Creates
home programs to foster an environment for skills that will carry
over into the home, and educates family members about various
topics, such as communication techniques or strategies* Monitor
patient's progress and adjust treatments accordingly* Maintain
caseload and productivity* Collaborates with multidisciplinary team
and participates in all team and individual meetings* Follows
policies and procedures as established by the organization* Follows
company procedures for canceling/scheduling clients, as necessary*
Maintains and contributes to clinic cleanliness/organization (daily
and weekly)* Maintains a safe work environment and
creates/maintains an orderly and organized clinic*Qualifications:**
SLP-CF or SLP-CCC* Current license from the State of Illinois in
Speech Language pathology* 1-year communications experience,
preferred* 1-year pediatrics experience, preferred* Strong
knowledge of child development (specifically birth to 18 years),
preferred* Experience with and passion for working with children,
preferred* Personable, playful, positive, and patient with the
ability to effectively build rapport with children and families*
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
with all levels of internal and external audiences, ability to
maintain confidentiality, positivity, and professionalism*
Self-motivated with the willingness and accountability to exceed
client expectations* Analytical mind and solutions-driven thinking*
Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks,
as well as multi-task in a fast-paced office environment* Excellent
written and verbal communication skills* Works well with others, as
well as independently in a supportive manner and can forge and
maintain relationships* Must be willing to be fingerprinted and
pass a background check* Must be dog-friendly - we have therapy
