Senior Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for defining and
communicating cyber security requirements and overall architecture
throughout the development, design, test, and integration steps of
a system lifecycle. The architect drives informed risk-based
decisions regarding controls that maintain integrity, visibility,
compliance, and resiliency. The senior architect also designs and
implements cyber security architecture standards to be used across
the organization following the principles of confidentiality,
integrity, availability, and defense in depth. The architect is
responsible for reviewing and documenting the security
requirements, design decisions, risks, and mitigations for each
system and application.This role requires a balance of technical
expertise and organizational savvy, with the ability to lead a team
and make strategic decisions.This role will be a part of the Global
Cyber Security function and the Cyber Security Architecture and
Engineering team and will report to the Senior Manager of Cyber
Security Solution Architecture.Responsibilities &
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies aligned
with industry standard processes and company goals.
- Conduct comprehensive audits to identify security gaps and
proactively address them.
- Collaborate with senior business leaders to integrate security
seamlessly into projects and processes, protecting information
systems.
- Continuously monitor and analyze emerging threats and trends,
ensuring knowledge stays ahead of attackers.
- Design and implement advanced access control and disaster
recovery plans to safeguard digital assets.
- Contribute to planning for the cybersecurity department,
managing risks and optimizing defense against evolving
threats.QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology,
or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a technical role in the cybersecurity
field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex
cybersecurity issues and devise effective solutions.
- Proficient in strategy and planning to anticipate and mitigate
potential security threats.
- Skilled in implementing effective mitigation strategies to
prevent security breaches and minimize damage.
- High level of integrity and professionalism to maintain the
trust and confidence of partners.
- Experience in implementing cybersecurity measures and protocols
to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
- Adept at coordinating with various business units to ensure
smooth operations and effective collaboration.
- Proficient in conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance
with security standards and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.Preferred
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business administration, computer science,
or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
- Extensive experience working and collaborating with business
and IT teams to successfully deploy applications and
