UI/UX LeadWe are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Lead to join our team remotely. The UI/UX Lead will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consumer requirements and needs are incorporated into the product from conceptualization to realization of the product.The UI/UX Lead will be responsible for leading the UI/UX team in delivering the best online user experience possible, promoting collaboration in the department, creating a positive environment, embodying the business/product values and assisting in the achievement of product goals.The UI/UX Lead will also be responsible for conducting research and documenting findings, creating consumer scenarios, and creating strategy documents for the team.This position is part-time up to 20 hours per week, based on the timing of project discoveries. We are looking for a long-term partnership with a contractor who is interested in leading project discoveries, strategy, and growing with our company.Responsibilities:

• Leading Workshops
• Communicating with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
• Developing technical and business requirements and always striving to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Working with the team to plan and implement new designs
• Optimizing existing user interface designs
• Testing for intuitiveness and experience
• Combining creativity with an awareness of the design elements
• Creating prototypes for new product ideas
• Testing new ideas before implementing
• Conducting ongoing user research
• Designing, conducting, and evaluating studies to understand and improve user experience, documenting requirements.
• Working directly with clients to identify requirements and ensure a positive experience.
• Training, mentoring, and supervising the UI/UX team
• Creating mock-ups and tracking metrics related to identifiable factors that change user experience.
• Creating and implementing strategies that improve user experience through design.Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • UX/UI design portfolio
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience planning and facilitating client discoveries
  • Ability to present and explain design options to clients
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation and communications
  • Detail oriented
  • Critical thinker
  • Problem solver and customer-centered
  • Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Sketch and Invision or similar
  • Familiarity with CMS (WordPress and Drupal), HTML, and CSS
  • Knowledge of Human Centered Design, Usability, and Design Thinking
