Location: 100% remote with quarterly travel
Duration: 2 year contract to start
Compensation: $75-90 per hour

Job Description:
Client is seeking expertise from a trusted partner to support the planning, design and execution of five transformational initiatives. The initiatives enable the fast-paced growth the client is experiencing with new capabilities and go-to-market offerings, and improved operations.

The client has the domain and functional expertise in-house to advise on the direction and vision for these initiatives. However, capacity is a constraint, and they are seeking an experienced partner to provide advisory and strategic execution expertise to progress the efforts to successful completion, on-time.

Each of the efforts has uncertainty and unknowns that need to be flushed out. Furthermore, the scope of work is broad. Client needs a partner that can provide the right breadth and depth of expertise over the course of the programs, flexing as the work progresses.

Representing the client to drive forward the in-scope initiatives; defining success measures & measuring progress
Advising on program/project approach, governance, communication, and KPIs/reporting, to progress key milestones and align stakeholders
Driving effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate alignment and remove roadblocks to adoption
Advising on initiative strategy and solution design bringing industry and/or domain expertise in the areas of op model, change management, technology implementation
Supporting approach and execution of current state to future state assessment and design
Planning and driving execution through all phases of work, coordinating down and in with Workstream Leaders and up and out with Sponsors and Stakeholders
Roles and Responsibilities Role:
This role is that of a business lead. The primary responsibility of this role is lead and facilitate the successful execution of two projects.
1. Implementation of a new ID Card Vendor
2. Create a Testing Environment for Healthcare Plan Build & Claims
Each operational initiative may be at a different place in its project lifecycle. Our focus will be on confirming successful building blocks are established, while not slowing down any progress already made or work in flight.
Balance and prioritization of workload among internal client stakeholders will be critical to success as the scope and timelines are defined and the work begins to execute for each organization.
Client has already established the vision for this work. There is no need to recreate the vision or backtrack. Rather, the focus is on mobilizing that vision to reality.
Client will already be providing project managers from their PMO to execute the base project management functions. This person needs to be able to drive the execution at the program level. He/she will coordinate both with planning and execution teams as well as aligning with senior leadership and stakeholders. The person must be able to work both up and down as well as across the organization and functions. The person should have strong experience leading large transformational efforts.

Responsibilities:
--- Drive forward the strategic execution of each initiative, establishing roadmaps and work plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
--- Coordinate workstream leaders and internal and external stakeholders to execute against the strategic execution plan
--- Drive current state analysis, providing expertise on approach and methods to conduct analysis. Leverage established clients back-office operations op model to inform current state to future-state planning.
--- Drive understanding of the business and technical requirements for each initiative, collaborating with LH and customers as required
--- Advise on future-state design bringing payer operations perspective as well as techniques and approaches to inform design and implementation
--- As applicable, inform technical and business testing and build plans and directly contribute to testing phases of the project
--- Advise on stakeholder engagement, adoption and readiness strategies
--- Establish and monitor initiative KPIs, and manage risks and issues to resolution
--- Manage capability and capacity needs, working directly with client engagement sponsor to proactively resolve gaps

--- Requirements documentation
--- Testing deliverables (scripts, reports)
* Collaboration with PM expected for tactical creation; client Lead to be accountable for output
