Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing
sustainability initiatives across the organization. You will be
responsible for collecting and analyzing sustainability data from
global locations, identifying trends, and evaluating the company's
environmental, social, governance, and sustainability practices.
Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the continuous
improvement of our sustainability performance.The role will involve
collaborating with various departments to develop innovative
methods for measuring and assessing the impact of our
sustainability efforts. You will have the opportunity to delve into
data analysis, conduct thorough assessments of sustainability
metrics, and communicate findings to key stakeholders.This position
is not eligible for remote work now or in the future. Temporary
relocation to the Chicago-area is not available.Key Job
Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough sustainability assessments, including
impact analyses, to identify areas for enhancement and
optimization.
- Collaborating with internal teams and global stakeholders to
integrate sustainability best practices into daily operations
effectively.
- Staying abreast of industry best practices, regulations, and
trends related to sustainability to ensure alignment with global
standards.
- Preparing and ensuring accurate reporting of sustainability
metrics for regulatory compliance and public disclosure to key
governmental agencies worldwide.
- Analyzing data and generating reports to communicate
sustainability performance to stakeholders at all levels of the
organization.
- Developing detailed reports for executive management,
cross-functional partners, and global stakeholders to drive
informed decision-making.
- Devising and implementing sustainability strategies, goals, and
initiatives that align with organizational objectives and global
sustainability targets.
- Engaging with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to
promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain and
foster collaboration.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of robust
sustainability policies and procedures that reflect industry best
practices and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting internal and external auditors in conducting audits
and reviews effectively and efficiently.
- Continuously enhancing tools, processes, and systems to
automate and optimize program performance and drive efficiency
across sustainability initiatives.
- Performing any other duties as assigned to support the overall
sustainability objectives of the
organization.Qualifications/RequirementsThe ideal candidate for
this role should possess the following qualifications and
requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Sustainability, Environmental
Science, or a related field preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in areas such as
sustainability, carbon emissions reporting, accounting, internal
audit, or data analysis.
- Working knowledge of sustainability/climate reporting
frameworks and regulations, including California SB253 and SB261,
EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and IFRS S1
and IFRS S2.
- Interest in driving corporate environmental, social and
governance programs, such as climate action, social impact, and
business diversity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with
the ability to convey complex information clearly and
concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management capabilities,
analytical thinking, and attention to detail to effectively address
challenges and drive solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a focus on
making a meaningful impact through effective written and verbal
communication.
- Team-oriented with a proven ability to cultivate positive
relationships with colleagues and external partners involved in
sustainability initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook,
Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word, to support various
communication and reporting activities.
- Strong presentation skills, enabling the development and
delivery of engaging presentations to diverse audiences.Additional

your total compensation package. This role pays $64,960-$81,200.
