expanding in Illinois!SummaryAccount Sales Representative will
assist the Wholesale Director in leading our Wholesale business
division in Illinois. To succeed in this role, this person must
have a strong grasp on market dynamics and be able to make
connections to lasting relationships across the industry. Sales
representative must travel at least 50% of the time throughout
Illinois and have reliable transportation. This position reports to
the Director of Wholesale. Compensation: Base wage plus commission,
car allowance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.Develops and maintains
relationships with potential and existing clients in the technical
and scientificwholesale and manufacturing fields.Identifies and
locates new clients through a variety of methods including
networking and cold calls.Develops and implements strategies for
sales in an assigned region or industry.Applies knowledge of the
field and product features to match products to the needs of
clients.Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their
uses, and the industry at large.Provides information, quotes,
credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.Assess and
understand the cannabis market, store, and consumer segments, and
identify key opportunities within the cannabis landscape.Identify,
create, and react to new opportunities to drive business with
accounts.Work strategically to achieve and exceed seasonal and
annual sales targets.Manage, develop, and maintain strong
relationships with buyers across the California market.Work
directly with customers through account visits and strengthen
relations and partnership at all levels of the account. As needed,
will provide direct support to high volume accounts ensuring the
success of this team.Develop and provide sales plans and coordinate
closely with production and transportation teams to optimize
product levels.Ensure that processes exist to simplify and
streamline delivery of wholesale product leveraging existing team
members.Identify and communicate opportunities to increase
profitability.Regularly report on sales status, barriers, and
opportunities to Director of Wholesale.Work with the marketing team
to provide customer facing collateral to promote and drive
sales.Work with the marketing team to develop product launch
schedules, in-store popup events, and other initiatives to drive
product and brand awareness and performance.Performs other duties
