- Manage Front Office operations, including overall guest
service, brand standards, room availability, cost controls,
profitability, systems use and management, department management,
policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and meeting
facilitation.
- Monitor and encourage team members' performance and assist in
training needs. Actively work on coaching, evaluating, and
rewarding team members. Assist in scheduling and employee review
processes.
- Monitor guest satisfaction reviews and scores with the General
Manager and improve accordingly.
- Greet guests and respond to inquiries, requests, and issues in
a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, resolving guest
concerns.Requirements:
- 1-2 years' supervisory experience in a Hyatt brand hotel
setting or luxury hotel environment.
- Two-year college degree or equivalent hospitality
experience.
- Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ,
Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack).
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred. Spanish
language skills are beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High energy with effective and influential people skills.
Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Reliable with the ability to multi-task and work under
pressure.
- Full availability is required; must be able to work varied
hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.* For applicants
working in the Chicago Downtown area, the anticipated compensation
range is $20-$21 hourly. The salary offered to a successful
candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited
to years of experience within the job, years of experience within
the required industry, education, etc.
